Cradle Cap

Cradle Cap is a common term used to describe a dry, flaky scalp. Below are some remedies that work:

1) Rub baby oil into baby’s hair and let it sit overnight and then brush it in the morning.

2) Rub baby oil into baby’s hair, let it sit for 5 minutes, then comb gently through with a fine toothed comb.

3) Try a dandruff shampoo like Head and Shoulders or Selsun Blue. Massage a small amount (about the size of a nickel) into the hair and scalp. Rinse thoroughly. Warning: be careful not to get the shampoo in the child's eyes and if shampooing in the tub, remove the child after rinsing.
